It was joy unlimited in the home of Mr. Kingsley Ifeanyi and his wife, Benita chizelum a.ka. chizzy, as they appreciated God in thanksgiving for their new child, little Miss. Michelle kamsiyochukwu Ifeanyi at Old Time Christians Church (City of Truth), Aba, Abia State.
Interacting with our correspondent shortly after the service, the couple, who appeared to understand the tenet of Christian faith and the biblical injunctions as it affects moral upbringing of a child expressed joy to God for saving the life of Benita Ifeanyi during her Pregnancy and giving them a baby girl who they described as an additional blessing to their household.
They assured that they will give adequate care and attention to the child and their children as it is a duty they owe them.
In his homily, during the thanksgiving service which attracted notable personalities from the political, religious, economic, traditional, academic and social class, the officiating priest, Pastor Alozie Onyebuchi appreciated God for putting smiles on the face of the couple and the Church and noted that children are precious gift from God that should be brought up carefully to be responsible to God and humanity.
The priest counselled the couple on moral upbringing of the child, and also stressed the need for parents and caregivers to bring up their children in the fear of the Lord for a better society.
