EVEN IF YOU DON'T CELEBRATE, WE WILL CELEBRATE YOU - FAITH EJIKEME

Birthdays are usually one of the most important days of one's life but nothing is probably as gladdening as being surprised on one's birthday by one's child, biological or not, especially when it is unexpected.

That was exactly how Pastor Alozie Onyebuchi of Oldtime Christians Church, Mission Hill, Umuahia, felt when Faith Ejikeme with David Ejikeme showed up at his house at 8am on Friday, October 7, 2022, bearing a birthday cake to celebrate with him.

The visibly surprised Pastor Alozie couldn't contain his joy as he was all smiles when the cake was shown to him.

In his appreciation for the surprise, Pastor Alozie, praised Faith Ejikeme for her act of kindness and prayed for Gods blessings upon her.

While sharing the news with other members of the church on Saturday, Pastor Alozie appreciated God for the gift of another year on earth.

He also thanked the members for the show of love on his birthday through calls, text messages, gifts and prayers while commending the unity and togetherness that exists among them.

"Something happened yesterday and I want to thank God for every one of you. It was Faith and David that came to my house yesterday by 8 o'clock in the morning; she left school by eight in the morning to say that she will celebrate with me. She came in, dropped the cake and said I should not be told and I came in and saw it and I was shocked. They said, even if you don't celebrate, we will celebrate you.

“I want to commend every one of you; those that organised this and to remind everyone that I celebrated my birthday on Friday. I want to thank every one of you. God bless you in the name of Jesus. I see a fire standing behind you; guiding your various families. And I want this love to continue; that is exactly what God expects that you do for one another, that is the only thing that God will want you to do for Him. I thank every one of you; the sprit is wonderful, the spirit of togetherness, love and care," he said.
