AKOBUNDU REJOICES WITH THE FAMILY OF THE LEADER OF UMUAHIA SOUTH LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL ON THE DEDICATION OF THEIR SON
The PDP Flag bearer for Abia Central Senatorial District, Col Austin Akobundu has congratulated the Leader of Umuahia South Legislative Council, Chief Denis Okorie on the Dedication and Thanksgiving Service of his son, David Zekora David-Denis.
Speaking at the residence of Chief Okorie in Umuogo Ubakala during the reception ceremony, Col Akobundu charged the family to train their son, David Zekora David-Denis in the way of the Lord.
The PDP Abia Central Senatorial hopeful used the forum to reiterate his commitment towards deploying his huge contact and capacity to deliver quality dividends of democracy to his constituents if elected adding that he will hold the office in trust for the people of Abia Central Senatorial District and also consolidate on the achievements of Senator T.A. Orji.
He promised to be accountable and accessible to his constituents explaining that he is in strong partnership with the youths of the constituency "this office is your own. I am only going to hold it for all of us in trust and I want to appeal if you agree with me, hold the project so that we will all have equal stake because we are going to work together. He asserted.
Responding, the Leader of Umuahia South legislative Council, Chief Denis Okorie appreciated Col Akobundu for honouring his invitation despite his tight schedule while pledging his support and that of entire members of Umuahia South Legislative Council towards his Senatorial ambition.
The event was witnessed by an elder statesman, Chief Tony Ukasanya, the Abia Central Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Chief Chukwudi Ezebuiro, the 3rd Deputy Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze G.C. Onwuka, the Director of Media and Publicity of Akobundu Campaign Council, Chief Uche Nwosu, members of Umuahia South Legislative Council, among other notable personalities.
The Dedication of David Zekora David-Denis, earlier took place at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuogo Ubakala.
