What does the state of Nigeria today says? Promise not fulfilled  right?  Yes,  that just it. 

Why promise a change which you can't implement? Why make things worse than you met it? Insecurity, Increase in Corruption, Increase  in fuel Price, Decrease in value of Naira, Bad Educational system. Just one word, it's a bad Economy worse than before.
